Inspired by the “Byeolsi,” a special civil service examination held by King Jeongjo in 1795 during his royal procession to Suwon Hwaseong to discover talented individuals beyond the boundaries of social status, this lively, participatory event invites people of all ages and genders to experience a Joseon-era civil service examination.
